my gfx drivers are I think causing this error when i join server
Not sure what I can do about it. Both comps have the same problem. ATI cards. One with Omega drivers other with latest possible ATI drivers. |

Hi Tomahawk,
An open gl hack is a cheat that lets you see through walls etc. Did this start happening when you installed the latest video card drivers? Have you recently upgraded Windows? Try rolling back your video drivers and see if this helps. Mr D |

i will try and dust off the old card, tho i think i changed it because it seemed to not work.
I have not played KP for a little while and my hardware changed around a little in the interveening period. Both problem cards are ATI Radeon. One is X1650 AGP, with Omega 4.8.442 (not much choice on using those due to OS), on win2k. One is HD 2600 AGP with 9.3 drivers (8.620.0.0) (from Saphire website since they had hotfix to latest ati drivers, older ati ones had same kp problem) on XP. This gutting since it takes ages to get these sorts of things sorted out. |

Great that you got it sorted. I had forgotten that xfire causes problems with KP.
