None of Jeref's servers are showing up any longer. Tried emailing him but it was returned.
Anyone know what happened to him?

I'm alive. I've been out of town for the past 16 days, and naturally there was a power failure while I was gone. I will reconfigure the server to reboot after power loss (assuming the bios on that machine has that option) when I get a chance. My other tower suffered a cpu meltdown during the same power outage. The Rosewill UPS's that I use supposedly have spike protection, but I'm guessing it ain't very good. So ... I may have to move the servers to my laptop until I get the fried cpu replaced. Players shouldn't notice any difference, the laptop cpu is faster. |
